Hi, I am Michelle Kimura.

I am an award winning photographer in Coaldale, Alberta, Canada. I first picked up a camera when I was 14 years old. I have been taking photos of my life ever since. From photos of my immediate family, to pics of friends and the silly things we used to do, to my own family once I became a parent.

I didn't realize it until a few years ago, but this fascination with a camera is something my grandmother had as well. I recently discovered a photo of her in the late 1940's holding a camera in her hands taking pictures of her own children. I know how much these photos mean to me and I truly wish to be able to give your future generations that same sense of wonder when they see images from the past.
